Wilfred Lamtaaba Sa-Ambo is an early-career environmental and climate researcher with a background in Geography and is currently pursuing an MPhil in Climate Change and Sustainable Development at the University of Ghana. His work is transdisciplinary, exploring the intersections of environmental sustainability, natural resource governance, energy transitions, and climate and development policy, with a focus on understanding and responding to complex environmental and sustainable development challenges.
He has experience in youth-led climate advocacy, environmental research, policy engagement, and sustainable development, with professional and fellowship experience spanning climate action, environmental stewardship, resource governance, and public-sector accountability, including a fellowship with the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP).
Wilfred is especially interested in bridging research, policy, and practice, using scientific evidence and transdisciplinary perspectives to inform policy and advance practical responses to climate and sustainable development challenges in Ghana and across Africa.
