Patience Aidam is a governance and compliance professional with experience spanning banking, administration, entrepreneurship, and institutional management. Her professional interests include governance, regulatory compliance, institutional strengthening, stakeholder engagement, and fostering impactful African-led initiatives.
She currently serves as Head of Governance & Institutional Affairs at the Africa Centre for Critical Minerals & Energy Transition (ACCET), where she supports the Centre’s governance systems, institutional development, compliance processes, and operational effectiveness.
At ACCET, she plays a key role in strengthening organizational structures, supporting policy and program implementation, coordinating institutional partnerships, and ensuring adherence to good governance and accountability standards.
Her work contributes to building a resilient and credible institution capable of advancing Africa-focused research, dialogue, and policy engagement on critical minerals and energy transition.
