Dr. Fikayo Akeredolu is a 2025 World Bank Africa Fellow working on climate finance and sustainable development. She also has a PhD in Politics from the University of Oxford.
Her research focuses on the political economy of energy transition, climate governance, and development finance in Africa, with a particular emphasis on Nigeria..
She has worked across academia, international development, finance, and technology in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and China. Her work examines how states navigate decarbonisation, energy access, climate finance mobilisation, and global partnerships in complex political and institutional environments.
